NALP's Federal Legal Employment Opportunities Guide provides information about a career in federal government, including: (1) the various kinds of work attorneys perform, (2) an overview of where the most attorney jobs are, (3) resources to aid in finding opportunities, and (4) tips on the application process.
"Getting into Federal Government" Guide is a great resource explaining how to find federal government positions, how your application will be processed, and tips for making your application stand out.
The JAG Corps offers summer internship opportunities. If a student is interested in a post-graduate position with the JAG corps, it is highly recommended to apply to he summer program. Links to each branch's JAG page can be found below.
Presidential Management Fellowship Program—is a pathway to entry-level employment with the federal government. More than 80 federal agencies partner with PMF to hire fellows. The fellowship is for 2 years, but fellows have the opportunity to convert their fellowship into full-time permanent positions.
